The Wilderness Education Training Institute was created in 2020.
Jeremiah Linehan has worked for 15 years as a Firefighter/Paramedic and outdoor enthusiast. His wilderness medicine background includes:
- Remote Medical Advanced Provider Certification from RMI
- AWLS/BWLS/WLS Instructor Certification from AdventureMed
- Rope Rescue Technician Certification
- Member of TOPOS SAR team in response to 2015 earthquake in Nepal
- Team leader for emergency response for Hurricane Irene in BVI 2017
His work background and love of outdoor adventures is what led him to create WETI-USA.
All instructors for WETI-USA courses have extensive experience in their field.
WETI-USA is headquartered in the mountains of Strafford, VT. Many of our courses are focused on the New England region, but we stay true to our motto “Where education and adventure collide” by teaching our courses while on a wilderness adventure in different parts of the country.
