Wilderness Education Training Institute is “Where learning and adventure collide”! Take an adventure with WETI-USA while achieving your certification in Wilderness Life Support. Over 80% of our course work is provided in our outdoor classroom or simply outside in a wilderness environment.
While we ramp up our adventure series, we’ll be teaching courses near our home base of Strafford, VT. If you don’t live nearby, we have options! Stay at our Hipcamp sites to get a true outdoor experience, or do the VANlife on site. Local lodging is available in a nearby B & B or hotel. Ask us for local options.
During our adventure series, we travel to various locations across the US and set up our outdoor classroom in different environments. Our plans include courses in WLS, BWLS and AWLS while exploring canyons in southern Utah, river rafting in Idaho, hiking across the Northeast’s highest peaks or rambling across the Smoky Mountains in the Southeast. The opportunities for adventure learning are endless!
