This class is hosted by the Strafford Volunteer Fire Department, in an effort to bring Wilderness First Aid to local First Responders. This is a 16 hour class designed to educate First Responders of the challenges faced in an austere environment. Our outdoor classroom will be the foundation for the live scenarios involving emergency situations that are likely to occur in their response area. A night scenario will be mandatory and students will have the option of staying outdoors overnight on Saturday Feb. 29th as part of the scenario. This course is certified by WETI-USA through AdventureMed.
